"As tourists we followed Google reviews to Osteria Nunziatina and were rewarded with a magnificent dinner. For antipasto we had the “Half a mozzarella and eggplant pizza,” every bit of which was a taste experience, though I’m surprised to write that the bread crust with fennel seeds is what made the dish. My primo piatto linguine was equally delicious. We were quite full by this point and never made it to a secondo piatto. The friendly owner recommended a great red to complement our dinner. This wonderful dinner was a favorite from our 10 days in Southern Italy."

"This small restaurant has great food, a cozy atmosphere, and a wonderful staff. Though they spoke little to no English, and were very polite with our little bit of Italian, we felt well-taken care of as a guest. Moreover, they treated every guest in such a manner. We order two pasta dishes and meatballs. The cavatelli with San Marzano tomato, basil, ground pepper and Montella salted ricotta was a tasty blend of sweetness from the tomatoes. The Di Martino mixed pasta with potatoes, smoked buffala mozzarella cheese and mountain oregano was amazing. The smokiness blended with the oregano really created an unexpectedly interesting flavor combination. For this dish alone, I want to go back. Finally, we ordered meatballs for some protein. However, we were so full of Primi, we asked if we could get them as take away. The owner not only got them all boxed up, he created a whole new bag of bread to go with them and joyfully sent us on our way. While many Italian restaurants in this town are so similar, this one stood out with its food and service. We highly recommend it."

"The cozy local restaurant in the center of Caserta. The hospitality and costumer service was great. I really liked the pasta. It was so tasty. They have menu of day that you just pay 10 euro to have first and second dishes. However the menu also available if you prefer to have different ones. They make the foods fresh and ti can also see the kitchen."

"Our landlord recommended this place for some very local food - it was superb! The chicken with tomato was done tastefully, along with pasta and some prosciutto with salad. The owner was super friendly and price reasonable. Highly recommended when in town!"
